To fulfill the mandate of the Principal Recipient, the Ministry of Health has established the Grant Management Unit (GMU) to carry out the functions of the PR. The Grant Management Unit works with other implementing units (TB, YIV,RSSH) within the LSMOH, Sub-Recipients (SRs) and other implementing partners in executing its mandate and ensuring that the grant is managed and implemented in compliance with grant agreement signed between the Global Fund and the Principal Recipient.
The Grant Management Unit, Lagos State Ministry of Health is recruiting to fill the following positions below:
Job Title: Radiographer
Location: Lagos
Duration of Contract: 12 months (January – December 2020)
Reporting to: STBLCP/GMU
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of National Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology and other related discipline
- Good computer skills, including familiarity and comfort with using MS Excel.
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility across a range of field and office related tasks
- Good attitude, self-motivated and ability to work well individually as well as in a team.
- A two years work experience in any of the radiography programs
- A license according to the state laws
- Experience with a non-governmental organization will bean added advantage.
Job Title: Driver
Location: Lagos
Duration of Contract: 12 months (January – December 2020)
Reporting to: STBLCP/GMU
Experience and Qualifications
- Secondary Education, relevant trade test, and valid driver’s license (Class B or E).
- A minimum of 5 years work experience as driver
- Sound knowledge of the federal republic of Nigeria driving requirements
- Must be registered with the Lagos State Drivers institute.
- Demonstrated skills in carrying out minor vehicle repairs when necessary Must be able to communicate in English Language
- Have-an appreciable understanding of the Lagos roads and the terrain.
- Experience with a non-governmental organization will be an added advantage
Job Title: Data Officer
Location: Lagos
Duration of Contract: 12 months (January – December 2020)
Reporting to: STBLCP/GMU
Specific objectives and Duties
- To ensure timely and accurate entry of project data
- Perform daily data cleaning and quality control checks
- To ensure neat and accurate filing of data forms
- Ensure accurate and efficient fracking of forms
- Resolve data queries raised with relevant stakeholders
- Maintain strict standards of patient confidentiality and access patient-identifiable information,
- Search for testing results within the National Health Laboratory Services online web portal.
- Assist in meeting reporting deadlines for the donor.
- Assist with other project related tasks if required.
- Support other staff members of the team when required
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Perform other related duties as required
Job Title: X-Ray Counselor
Location: Lagos
Duration of Contract: 12 months (January – December 2020)
Reporting to: STBLCP/GMU
Specific objectives and Duties
- Provide counselling to patients and their household contacts on disease infection treatment for contacts, treatment adherence, side effects and infection control. –
- Provide regular follow up to patients and their household contacts,
- Provide counselling and support on Tuberculosis ass communicable disease to both positive and non-positive TB patients.
- Provide a safe environment for people to discuss issues
- Maintaining record of the patients seen or counselled.
- Report to designated supervisor on a daily basis
- Carry out research activities as required by the program
- Conduct household visits when required
- Assisting in data entry
- Screen TB patients for co-morbid conditions and screen household contacts of TB patients
- Support other staff members of the team when required
- Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines regarding at clients, conversations and referrals
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Ensure that data entry Is completed ma timely manner
- Perform other related duties as required
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of National Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology and other related discipline.
