We’ll conduct thorough investigation into Mohbad’s death, police have promised – Assistant Commissioner of Police (FPPRO) Muyiwa Adejobi has stated that the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, will be investigated by the force headquarters.
The spokesperson issued a statement on Thursday expressing the deepest sympathies from the force’s headquarters to the loved ones of the slain hip-hop artists.
In response to questions about his sudden death, Adejobi remarked, “We understand the concerns. The Nigeria Police Force is dedicated to conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of his death, and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State has been given the responsibility of doing so. As more information becomes available, we will update you.
We ask that anyone with information contact the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa. This includes family members and close friends.
We need everyone’s help to get to the bottom of this, so for the time being, we’d appreciate it if people wouldn’t do or say anything that could compromise the investigation.
You may recall that the musician passed away on Tuesday under unexplained circumstances and was laid to rest on Wednesday in the Ikorodu neighbourhood of Lagos.
