Reasons Why NOUN Increased Their Fees
I have seen several comments from students and applicants alike, asking why did the school senate increased her school fees. HERE is what Dr. Olubiyi Adewale (Director Lagos Study Centre) has to say about the fee increment in NOUN and we quote him below;
One thing that should come into our mind as students and staff, is this. First thing we need to iron out is that the increase in fees is just Seven thousand, five hundred Naira ONLY (7,500 Naira) across board. This amount is normally considered minimal to take care of the incoming e-facilitation platform, which the senate tagged “iLearn”.
Currently, more than 760,000 students have logged in to the iLearn portal and have mostly commended the initiative and the ideal behind such great platform.
Likewise, having a fully functional portal like the “NOUN iLearn” is now a global standard for open universities. It is the student that will benefit overall in the long run.
