The good news was made known early 2019; interested Nigerians started submitting the online application upon the unveiling of the applicant portal.
Currently, the application is ongoing with both login and sign up features enabled on the p-yes.gov.ng portal.

Purpose of the Empowerment.
The aim of the FG is to curb the mass unemployment among Nigerian youths. Beneficiaries will be trained and empowered under the following programmes:
- Agriculture
- ICT and Mobile Money
- Fashion
- Catering
- Technical Acquisition
There might be a monthly stipend to all the beneficiaries just like the npower programme. You will receive a national skill acquisition certificate which will make you employable in any related industry.
News on the P-YES Application Website/Portal
The managements of the presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme launched two websites to be the official websites of pyes programme.
Applicants are advised to note the official website and the application website and only make use of them to avoid falling in the hands of fraudsters.

So far there is no news on the closing date. You are advised to get yourself registered as fast as possible to avoid late registration and so on.
