Heritage Bank Plc, has introduced the Sunday Small Market in a bid to add value to its medium and small-scale customers in the country.
At the maiden edition of the programme in Lagos, Executive Director, Lagos/South West and Corporate Banking if the Mrs. Mary Akpobome, said it was another way of adding value to its customers.
She said the bank was well-known for supporting small businesses and this was another way to display their locally made wares and link them with their customers.
Head of Brand Management, Mr. Ade Adegbite, said the bank supports initiatives that bring visibility to its customers, adding that the idea behind the market was to provide a platform for the SMEs customers to show-case their products and interface with their existing customers.
Managing Director of Eazeewier Clothiers, which specialises in clothing children, Mrs. Rita Ojo, described the idea as good for marketing because some people that attended would not have heard about her company if not for the opportunity provided by the bank.
An official of David Wej, which sells shoes, bags and other accessories, Mr. Bode Ola, said they had a good outing and enjoined the bank to sustain the project.
