The management of Guaranty Trust Bank has written to inform the Nigeria Stock Exchange of the retirement of two of its Independent Non-Executive Directors, Messrs Andrew Alli and Akindele Akintoye.
According to the statement “Akintoye and Alli were appointed to the Board of the Bank in June 2008 and served the Bank Meritoriously during their tenure on the Board.
“Their retirement is in compliance with the provision of the Code of Corporate Governance of the Bank and the Central Bank of Nigeria Code of Corporate Governance for Banks in Nigeria.”
Their retirement takes effect from June 30 2016
